Can I contact someone after hours?
Absolutely. We provide emergency support for urgent issues that occur outside of business hours. Routine questions are addressed during our standard office schedule. -
Do you offer direct deposit for owner payments?
Yes. We send owner disbursements via electronic ACH deposit to your U.S. bank account, typically on a set schedule to ensure prompt and reliable payouts. -
Can I review the lease agreement?
Our team handles the execution of all lease documents with the use of an electronic signing platform. -
Does Next Door also handle real estate sales?
While our core focus is property management, we do assist with buying and selling real estate. Let us know if you're interested in expanding or selling your portfolio. -
When and how do I receive my rental income?
Disbursements are made after rent is collected and all applicable expenses are processed. These payments are scheduled to occur on the 10th, 20th or last day of the month (or the following business day). Payments are typically delivered by ACH direct deposit. -
How is rent collected from tenants?
We offer secure online rent payment options through our Resident Portal, along with other methods as needed. Late payments are managed per the lease terms, including notices and applicable fees. -
What lease lengths do you offer?
Most of our lease agreements are 12 months, but terms can be customized based on market demand and your preferences. -
How much is the tenant’s security deposit?
Security deposits are set based on local laws, rent price, and tenant qualifications. We ensure they meet legal guidelines while protecting your property. -
How quickly can you start managing my property?
We can begin as soon as our management agreement is signed. In many cases, we can get started within a few days. -
What types of properties do you manage?
Next Door manages a diverse range of rental properties, including single-family homes and multi-family units. -
What kind of reports do I receive?
You'll receive regular owner statements detailing rent income, expenses, and maintenance activity. These reports are available anytime through your secure Owner Portal. -
Who holds the tenant’s security deposit?
Security deposits are held by Next Door in a separate trust account in accordance with local regulations, ensuring proper handling and legal compliance.
